CAR AIR CONDITIONING SERVICE AND REPAIR
When temperatures climb and it is sweltering outside. The last thing you want to happen is to enter your vehicle and your air conditioning isn’t working. You depend on your vehicle A/C to blow strong cool air to keep you and your family at a comfortable temperature. But, when all you feel is warm air or nothing at all, then it’s time to bring your vehicle in for a FREE A/C performance checkup. You can trust Hampden Automotive in Mechanicsburg PA with your car air conditioning service, or car air conditioning repairs.
Over time, your car or trucks A/C system refrigerant will deplete and will need to be recharged. We can perform a pressure check on the A/C system to see if your vehicle may only need to be recharged. But, also over time, your air conditioning systems components can wear out. A/C fittings become loose, O-rings, hoses, and seals wear out. That’s when you lose the refreshing blast of cool air inside your vehicle.
Symptoms that your vehicle’s air conditioning may need recharged, or repaired are:
- Warm air blowing out of the A/C vents.
- Lack of pressure, or force when the air blows out.
- The air won’t blow out the vents at all.

How do I know if I need new tires?
Place a penny head first into several tread grooves across the tire. If you always see the top of Lincoln’s head, your treads are shallow and worn. In this is the case, your tires need replaced.
If part of Lincoln’s head is always covered by the tread, you have more than 2/32 of an inch of tread depth remaining.
Should I be using Synthetic Oil?
Synthetic oil takes longer to break down. It should last for 4,000 to 6,000 miles or more between oil changes. Conventional oil should generally changed every 3,000 miles. It may be a benefit to your vehicle. But always consult your owners manual first, or Contact Us ask us for more information.
